So much attention has been dedicated to attracting new customers through modern websites and social media, that it is important to remember the basics. This presentation focuses on customer retention. I will explain “The Illusion” a marina facilitates; discuss the intangible, but important, idea of culture; pinpoint updates that add value to the “experience”; and finally, I will demonstrate how slip totals and revenue have increased compared to seasonal average with dramatic increase in number of returning boaters.
